Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain was in the hot seat on Monday night, answering questions about allegations of sexual harassment from the 1990s during an interview that aired on Fox News' "On the Record."
Politico first reported on the accusations in question from when the former Godfather's Pizza CEO was serving as head of the National Restaurant Association over a decade ago. The GOP contender, who previously denied any wrongdoing in the alleged incidents, maintained his innocence when pressed on the matter by Fox News host Greta van Susteren.
In coming to his own defense; however, Cain said that because he could recollect certain incidents taking place, that doesn't mean they didn't occur.

Make no mistake about it: The struggle between Wall Street and "the 99 percent" is a culture war. It's a war over our values, our beliefs, and rights. That's why Occupy Wall Street has been so wise not to proclaim specific policy demands.
The movement is trying to change the way we view ourselves and our society. That has started a war: a war of communication, a war of education, a war of perception. It's a war to remind us who we are as a people - or better yet, who we would wish to be.

HONOLULU -- Nicole Leszczynski couldn't imagine that two chicken salad sandwiches would land her and her husband in jail and her 2-year-old daughter in state custody. But it happened five days ago, when the 30-weeks-pregnant woman forgot to pay for her snack while grocery shopping.
"It was the most ridiculous chain of events that happened," she said while sobbing Monday. "It's still hard to believe what happened."

The U.S. earned improved marks in curbing premature birth rates, according to the March of Dimes' most recent annual report card. This year, the nonprofit gave the country a "C" -- up from a "D" in 2010.
Preterm birth rates fell from an all-time high of 12.8 percent in 2006 to 12.2 percent in 2009, according to the new statistics. That is still well short of the organization's 2020 goal of 9.6 percent, as well as the federal government's Healthy People 2020 goal of 11.4 percent.
"March of Dimes is definitely encouraged by the improvement in the rate of preterm birth, but there's a long road ahead," said Dr. Jennifer L. Howse, president of the organization. Preterm refers to any birth that occurs before 37 weeks, and is a key risk factor for newborn death in the U.S., according to the CDC.

What happens when your sweet little boy... isn't?
That's the question presented by festival favorite indie flick, "We Need To Talk About Kevin," which stars Ezra Miller as a dark, psychotic young man and Tilda Swinton as his beleaguered mother. Her husband, played by John C. Reilly, seems either optimistic or delusional about their son's darkness, complicating even further Swinton's efforts to understand and communicate with Kevin.
The name makes more sense in the context of the film's origin; the Lynne Ramsay-directed flick is based on a 2003 book of the same name by Lionel Shriver, who used the unusual narrative form of a series of letters from wife to husband tell the story.

Digital Trends - According to a report released by the Digital Entertainment Group, Blu-ray sales are up 58 percent during the third quarter of 2011 compared to the previous year. In fact, the amount of money that consumers spend on home entertainment has seen the first increase since the U.S. recession began in early 2008. With a five percent increase over the previous year, a portion of that was driven by Blu-ray sales as well as a 13 percent increase in electronic sell-through. The refers to the amount of digital downloads consumers have made to devices such as gaming consoles, set-top boxes, tablets and smartphones.Â

Joe Jonas probably didn't expect this when he signed on to tour Europe with Britney Spears.
The pop queen and the solo JoBro performed live at Wembley Arena in London Sunday night, and it's fair to say that purity rings were not being worn on stage. Spears, singing "Lace and Leather," called up Jonas to sit in the middle of the action. Conveniently, right in front of a pole.
From there, the handcuffs came out and the legs went up, and all of a sudden, Jonas was on the receiving end of a bachelor party special. He didn't look all that excited for it, though, to be fair, it's hard to blame him, given the massive audience that was cheering Spears on.

Ed Rollins, GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann's former campaign manager, had some harsh words on Monday for the Minnesota congresswoman.
Speaking to ABC News, Rollins said that Bachmann has little chance of victory in next year's Iowa caucuses and that she is "out of money and ideas." Rollins elaborates in the full story:
"She's still saying the same things she said in the first the debate. There's no substance. She says, 'I'm going to repeal Obamacare.' But she's been saying that from Day 1. I told her: That's your Tea Party speech, now you have to say what you're going to do next."
